Zina Dimattia Depaula

Zina DiMattia DePaula, resident of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the age of 88. She was born on Saturday, July 30, 1932, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Sam DiMattia and the late Angelina Dominick DiMattia.

Zina is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth D. Cascio and Sharon DePaula; grandchildren, Katherine and Chris Bordelon, and Brad and Katie Cascio; great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Thibodeaux, Colin Bordelon, and Olivia, Sam, and Bennie Cascio; brother, Sammie (Pattie) DiMattia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Sam DePaula; and sister, Katy Bittola.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am on Friday at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond, Louisiana.
