Woodrow "Woody" Wilson Vicknair

Woodrow "Woody" Wilson Vicknair passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 82.  He was born on Sunday, December 1, 1940 in Springfield, Louisiana to the late Lillie Wall Vickair and the late Joseph Vicknair.  He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Woody is survived by his sons, Kenneth Vicknair and his wife, Billie, and David Vicknair and his wife, Darla; grandchildren, Justyn, Danielle, Cody, Andrew, Brad, Jason, Mike, Kyle, and Nikkie; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Zoey, Isabella, Jase, Deklyn, Sadie, Conor, Jason, Evan, Eryn, Logan, Jagger, and Araina; sister, Gloria "Deanie" Ridgell and her husband, Alonzo "Sonny"; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Vicknair; mother, Lillie Wall Vickair; wife, Roseanne Kropog Vicknair; sister, Ann Matherne; brothers, Willard Vicknair, Wally Ray Vicknair, Wesley Vicknair, and Wallace Vicknair.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, March 3, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM until the memorial service begins at 3:00 PM.
