William Troy Dixon Jr.

William Troy Dixon Jr., passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 85. He was born on May 9, 1936, in Mobile, Alabama, the son of the late William Troy Dixon, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Pierce. Troy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Troy is survived by his daughters, Catherine C. Conrad (William), Elizabeth Dixon and Dorothy Dixon Scholl; grandchildren, Brett Conrad, Jr. (Tori), Courtney Scholl Palmisano (Brandon) and Gavin G. Scholl; sister, Sharon Dixon Noell and her children, Edwin Jr. and Susan; and half-sisters, Kay Dixon Angevine and Alice Carol Dixon.

In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his infant half-sister and Kay's twin, Bonnie Jean Dixon.

Troy was laid to rest at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
