William Reagan Floyd, II of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 41. Â He was born on July 29, 1979 in Baton Rouge, son of Marina Marlene McBride Scrivens and the late Reagan Scott âScottyâ Floyd. Â He was known as Reagan to his friends and family. Â He was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge and never met a stranger. Â Reagan was very charming and well liked by everyone he met. Â He was a skilled carpenter and loved to cook. Â He loved animals and referred to his beloved dog Batman as his âsonâ. Â He had a huge, caring heart, was very loved, and will be missed by all that knew him.
Reagan is survived by his son, Blaine Reagan Floyd, of Baton Rouge; mother, Marina Marlene McBride Scrivens and fiancé Brian Boudreaux of Holden; sister, Angela âAngelâ Renee Floyd Smith and husband Wade Emile Smith, Sr. of Hammond; brother, Parker Reagan Floyd of Baton Rouge; aunt, Kathy Kelleher Matherne and husband Darren Matherne of Denham Springs; uncle, Loren Conrad and wife Melissa Conrad of Baton Rouge; niece, Gabrielle Elizabeth Smith Hinshaw and husband Richard Bradley Hinshaw of Hammond; nephew, Wade Emile Smith, Jr. and fiancé Brighton Madyson Boudreaux of Hammond; great-nephews, Ezra Gray Hinshaw and Wade Emile Smith, III of Hammond, numerous cousins, and his beloved canine âsonâ Batman.
He is preceded in death by his father, Reagan Scott âScottyâ Floyd; grandparents, Cytha Parker Christianson and William Reagan Floyd, II and Maralyn Elizabeth Moore McBride and Eric Beverly McBride; and uncle, Eric âRickyâ Clyde McBride.
