William Huey Snyder

William Huey Snyder passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana at the age of 78.  He was born on Sunday, March 1, 1942 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Genevie Sharp Snyder and William Henry Snyder.

William is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Snyder Gray and husband Chase Gray, son Johnny Cook and wife Lisa Cook, daughter Angela Sharp and husband Jerry Travis, and son William Sharp, his step-daughters, Tonya Laciura, Sherri Brumfield and Melissa Cochran, his grandchildren, Rachel Cook, Leslie Williams, Kayla Groff, Jonathon Cook, Ashley Cook, Morgan Cook, Kristen Cook, Scott Boudreaux, Jr., Savannah Sharp and Bailey Sharp, 3 great granddaughters and 5 great grandsons, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

William was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Snyder, his son Kevin Cook, his great grandson Hayden Cook, his parents, Genevie Sharp Snyder and William Henry Snyder, his brothers, Joseph R. Snyder, Roy R. Snyder and Alex H. Snyder.

A Visitation for William will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Funeral Service Celebrating William's Life will begin at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
