William Allen Decota

William Allen Decota passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 74.  He was born on Monday, March 14, 1949 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Thelma Hill Decota and the late William Decota.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

William is survived by his son, Clinton Decota and Jessica; grandsons, Cody Decota and Trent Decota; granddaughter, Emily Decota; brother, Glenn Decota and his wife, Doris.

In addition to his parents, William was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Joiner Decota; son, Shane Decota; and sister, Doloris Decota Threeton and her husband, Rogers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to William's nephew, Eddie Threeton, for doing so much for him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the vistiation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, beginning at 4:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 6:00 PM.  Following the service, the visitation will continue until 9:00 PM.

While the family appreciates your kindness and sympathy, they ask that no flowers be sent for William's service.
