Wilfred Joseph "Cooney" Millet Jr.

Wilfred Joseph "Cooney" Millet Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 30, 2016. Born June 1, 1921, in Garyville, LA. and formerly of Maurepas, LA. Son of the late Wilfred Millet Sr. and Odella Badeaux.

He was preceded in death by wife, Ethel Farrial; son, Wilfred Millet III; siblings, Harvey and Ernest Millet, Ida Mae Weber and Edna Blank; and grandchildren, Charles Millet Jr., Jeffrey Millet and Adam Chauvin.

Survivors included siblings, Earl Millet, Della Gonzales, and Dora Vicknair; children, Charles Millet Sr. (Kathy), Gary Millet Sr. (Sheila), Marion Fitzgerald (Edward) and Ina Weber; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was an Army/Air Force PFC during World War II.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 22494 La. Hwy 22, Maurepas, LA 70449, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until service time.

Interment will follow in the Maurepas Cemetery.
