Wilburn "Pete" Edward Turnage

Wilburn "Pete" Edward Turnage, 84 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Richard Murphy Hospice House. He was born on November 10, 1933, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the son of the late Wilburn E. Turnage and the late Josie McLain Turnage.

Pete is survived by his loving children, Cindy Bluhm, Kim Tompkins (Michael), Holli Rexilius (Frank), Robert Turnage (Debbie), Al Turnage (Cindy), Sissy Berthelot (Corey), and Pete Turnage (DeAnn); 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Lois "Lucy" McIntyre Turnage; son, Charles Gary Bluhm; sister, Janet Janice Turnage Greaud (Sidney "Boots").

Family and friends will be received Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9:00 am until the Memorial Service begins at 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401.
