Wesley Ray Waldo

Wesley Ray Waldo was born April 24, 1944, in Dewitt, Arkansas, to the late Albert Ray Waldo and Myrtle Bullock Raper.  He passed away on August 23, 2023, in Covington, Louisiana.  Ray was a resident of Loranger and a Bishop in the Church of God for many years, serving churches in Louisiana and Mississippi.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vivian Waldo; son, Terry Waldo (Bill Homes); daughters, Tammy McLean, and Katrina Waldo (Steven Finckbeiner); grandsons, Devin and Cameron McLean; and a brother, Albert Ray Waldo, Jr.  Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, from 10:00 a.m. until memorial services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Brother David Doiron and Brother Derrick Jarrell.
