Wendy Ann Joiner Moore Bardwell

Wendy Ann Joiner Moore Bardwell, age 47 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. She was born on Monday, October 9, 1972, in Independence, Louisiana.

Wendy enjoyed life. She was a very outgoing person and was always the "real deal".  Her husband Donnie, was her partner and the love of her life. She loved church, country music, gospel music, Christmas trees, the Joiner Cane Mill, her children, and making memories with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her horse Chance and her dog Noah. Wendy enjoyed working at the bowling alley for many years where she touched many hearts and lives. Her journey was a tough one, but she faced everyday with a smile knowing that Jesus walked by her side and even, some days carried her.Wendy said if her journey of illness and pain touched a life or made a difference to someone then it was "worth it all".The greatest thing that can be remembered and treasured by all is that "she loved".

Wendy is survived by her husband, Donnie Bardwell; parents, Ruth and Clif Moore and Floyd Edward and Carla Joiner; daughter and her children, Rebekkah Fowler (Tom), Sage and Melody; daughter Hannah Puffpaff; son, Tyler Puffpaff; other children and their children, Ashley Anthony (Mike), Kaleb and Mike Jr.; Heather Martinez, and Alexis, Taylor, Brylon, Braxton, Moe, and George; Heather Chadwick (Billy) and Cade, Braden, and Brantly; Miranda Martinez, William Martinez, Justin Puffpaff(Destiny) and Heidi and Nate; Dustin Tompkins (Katrina) and Nathan and Barrett; sisters, Tammy Meyers(Garry), Savanna Stafford(Derrick), Sherry Peters(Ken), Sandy Prevost(Patrick), Candace Ostendorf(Brian), brothers, Zane Moore(Alison), Hunter Joiner(Felicia),  Blake Joiner(Kristie), Buffa Moore(Debbie), and Smokey Moore(Dena), grandparents, Barbara J. Alexander, and Kathy C. Joiner, her dum-dum, Bonnie Joiner Daigle and Poppa Jake Drude; parents in law, Don and Beverly Bardwell; and sister in law, Shannon Breaux (Frank) Amanda and Gregory.

Waiting for her in heaven are her grandparents Fay and Austin Ochsner, Leona Moore, Lloyd E. Joiner, Neal Alexander, great-grandparents, Oleta Morse, Snow Ochsner, Bonnie Russell, Rev. Eli and Thelma Joiner and special uncles, Lloyd Wayne Joiner and Kenny Ochsner.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 8 am until 11 am.

The Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula , on Saturday,  at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
