Wayne Leslie Spiers

Wayne Leslie Spiers, born September 26, 1949 moved toward a beautiful horizon on December 6, 2018. He has left behind a beauty of friends and family along with his devoted wife Golda Spiers. Wayne was a US Coast Guard veteran of Vietnam and a board member of the Rosaryville Spirit Life Center. He has been employed at Gilbert Kelly Couturie since 1972.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, December 10, 2018  from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Rosaryville Spirit Life Center, 39003 Rosaryville Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am on Monday with Father Cayet Mangiaracina, O.P.,  officiating. Interment will follow in Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula, LA. The days ahead will be filled with many Wayne stories, may they put a smile on your face -and your heart.

Our recollection of his joy and care offer one way to fill the towering void he leaves behind. Another way to honor Wayne is to take care of each other. In lieu of flowers Wayne’s deepest desire would be that you go find someone who needs you or memorial donations can be made to Rosaryville Spirit Life Center.  Well done, good and faithful servant.
