Wayne Joseph Kraemer

Wayne Joseph Kraemer, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the age of 82. He was born on June 24, 1938, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the son of the late Curtis Kraemer and the late Velma Guichet Kraemer.

Born and raised in Ponchatoula, Wayne was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and loved getting coffee with guys and making his daily rounds through town. Wayne's hobbies included spending time with his grandkids, hunting and fishing.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Brescher Kraemer; children, Kim LaMarca and her husband Tony, Stephanie Kraemer, and Kirk Kraemer and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Joey LaMarca, Chelsee LaMarca Gravley and her husband Tyler, Matthew LaMarca, and Kaleb Kraemer; great grandson, Bennett Gravley; sister, Sandra Wagner; and nephews, Brett and Trent Vicknair.

Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, July 25th at 10:00 am, with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service. Thank you for your cooperation.

In lieu of flowers, Mass may be requested in Wayne's memory from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula.
