Warren Douglas "Doug" Gibson

Warren Douglas “Doug” Gibson peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by family. He was born on Wednesday, December 20, 1950, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Thomas Gibson and Helen Hand Gibson. 

Doug is survived by his wife, Cheryl Heathman, sons, Jay Gibson (Sarah), David Gibson, and William Heathman, grandsons, Tanner Thomas Gibson, Byrun Gibson, and Dustin Gibson, granddaughters, Lillian Gibson and Lily Gibson, brother, TC Gibson (Rosemary), nieces, MaryAnn and Nancy, as well as his dog and furry companion, Honey. 

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Hand and his cousin, Katherine Louise Gibson. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Loranger Baptist Church, 54078 LA-1062, Loranger, LA 70446, on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
