Warren Anthony Thomasson

Warren Anthony Thomasson passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 89.  He was born on Tuesday, December 22, 1931 in Centreville, Louisiana to the late Olea Champagne Thomasson and the late Lawrence Joseph Thomasson.  He was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Warren was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, council # 5530, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was also very active in Boy Scouts of America.

Warren is survived by his daughters, Carol Pyron (Bob), Gayle Busch (Al), and Mechelle Buckles (Tim); sons, Larry Thomasson (Marcia), Mark Thomasson (Christine), and Danny Thomasson (Stacey); grandchildren, David, Martye, Martha, Jennifer, Clay, Nicole, Erica, Honea, Tom, Michael B., Michael, John, Nicholas, Terry, Lee, Kyle, Brett, Brittney, Bella, Sarah, Louis, Cade, Christopher, and Jillian; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Thomasson (Martha); sister, Gerri Lea Case; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora "Gertrude" Crooks Thomasson; father, Lawrence Joseph Thomasson; mother, Olea Champagne Thomasson; son, Patrick Wayne Thomasson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815, on Friday, August 27, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in St. Dominic Catholic Church Cemetery, Husser, Louisiana.
