Wanda Mae Fabre passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 81. She was born on Monday, October 1, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Wanda is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Tammy Joiner and Jeff Joiner; son & daughter-in-law, James "Jimmy" Fabre, Jr. and Deanna Fabre; son, Shannon Fabre; grandchildren, Coty Fabre, Meagan Fabre, Brenna Joiner, Eric Joiner, Nick Riggs, and Matt Riggs; great-grandchildren, Jaycie Cutrer, Jake May, Braedyn Peltier, Alivia Fabre, Josie Fabre, Zane Riggs, Aliyah Riggs, Theia Riggs, Sebastion Riggs, and Elijah Riggs; twin sister, Carol Smith; and other siblings, Ivy Bernard West, Mary Arms, Fred West, Jr., Richard West, Oreline Moss, and Dolores Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Orcutt; father, Fred West, Sr.; sister, Christine West Vining; and granddaughter, Jenna Fabre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, October 9, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM until the service begins at 6:00 PM. The visitation will continue after the service until 8:00 PM.
