Wanda Arnold Mcgarvey

Wanda Arnold McGarvey, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond at the age of 64. She was born on August 16, 1954, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Barney James Arnold Sr. and Myrtle Arnold Marine.

Wanda is survived by her mother, Myrtle Arnold Marine; fiance, Dale Harp; daughter, Erika Smith (Brent); son, Caleb McGarvey; sister, Rita Pellichino (Sal); brother, Michael Arnold (Amie); nephew, Brandon Pellichino; and nieces, Mallory Arnold and Megan Arnold.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Barney James Arnold Sr.; brother, Barney James Arnold, Jr.; niece, Michelle Lynn Pellichino; maternal grandparents, Mart McKinney Sr. and Odelia Picou Mitchell; and paternal grandparents, James Barney Arnold and Margie Arnold.

Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, LA 70401.

Interment will follow at Arnold Family Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
