Voncil Hudson McLaughlin , 96 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away  Sunday, September 11, 2016, in Corpus Christi, TX..

She was born on Saturday, October 18, 1919, in Troy, AL. Surviving are three daughters; Clara Smith (Will), Doris Harrison (Paul) and Martha Sanchez (Terran); ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis P. McLaughlin; parents, Will and Fannie Hudson; three brothers, Robbie Hudson, J. T. Hudson and Luke Hudson; four sisters, Katie Mae Weser, Tommie Moore, Eunice Scott and Vertle Biggner; and one grandson, Greg Smith and one great-granddaughter, Marlee Brooke Harrison.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, La.

Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
