Virginia "Jean" Rose Fazzio

Virginia Rose Fazzio passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at the age of 73. She was born on Thursday, August 16, 1945 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Mary Mannina Fazzio and the late Sam P. Fazzio. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Virginia was a loving and caring mother to Shane and Jeff. She also enjoyed her retirement especially after 25 years of service to the Hammond Developmental Center.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Shane Rawlins and Jeff (Amy) Rawlins; granddaughter, Savannah Rose Rawlins; sister, Leona Ferrera (Tony); close family friends, Greta Hammel and Steve Bordok; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam P. Fazzio; and Mary Mannina Fazzio; and brother, Joe Fazzio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
