Victoria “Vicki” Elizabeth Lapeze Ehrensing

Victoria “Vicki” Elizabeth Lapeze Ehrensing passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 6, 1956, to the late Roy and Evelyn Lapeze. Vicki is also preceded in death by her husband, Mark Ehrensing. She is survived by her sons Patrick Ehrensing (Camie), Daniel Ehrensing (Heather), and Geoffrey Ehrensing (Jaala); grandchildren Roman, Weston, Danielle, Aeryn, Gavin, and Angelina; siblings, Joelle Lapeze, Theresa Napolitano (Jim), Paula Schiro (Frank), Russell Lapeze (Catherine), and Gwen Sakowski (Greg). 

 Vicki was a graduate of Cabrini High School, New Orleans, LA and Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, LA. She was a staff accountant for the State of Louisiana, Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for nearly 12 years when she retired in 2019. Vicki was also a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ponchatoula.

 The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heritage Healthcare in Hammond and Life Source Hospice for their compassion and comfort they provided Vicki in her final days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial and Funeral Mass, presided over by Vicki’s nephew Rev. Nicholas Napolitano, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia St. in Ponchatoula on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
