Veronica "Luce" Ridgedell

Veronica “Luce” Ridgedell was born September 2, 1959, in Covington, LA, to the late Walter McEvers Fletcher, Sr. and Eleanor Puls Fletcher. She passed away October 19, 2024, in Hammond, LA. Veronica was a nurse for 41 years serving as the Performance Management Clinical Quality Manager at North Oaks Hospital for the past fifteen years. She was a member of Cooper’s Chapel Methodist Church and enjoyed needlepoint, traveling, and working in her yard. She was a 1977 graduate of Spring High School, Spring, TX and attended Southeastern Louisiana University and Greensburg Vocational School. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Lee (Colis); son, Brandon Ridgedell (Jodi); sister, Jocelyn Ingraffia (James), brother, Walter “Mac” Fletcher, Jr. (Julie); and her fiancée, Salvadore “Sal” Accomando. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Adam Moore. Interment will follow in Loranger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barrett Null, Bobby Brown, Colis Lee, Rip Ingraffia, DeWayne Puls and Clinton Null.
