Verna Mae Scardina

Verna Mae Scardina  passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 92.  She was born on Saturday, July 19, 1930 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Maudi and Louis Davis. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Verna Mae is survived by her caregiver Jessica Mae Palm, her 2 sons Anthony and Donald Scardina, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,16 great-great-grandchildren, as well as 1 niece and 1 half-sister. 

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Tony Scardino, parents, Maudi and Louis Davis as well as her children, Michael Scardina and Debra Cannino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Ford Cemetery, Cooper Rd., Independence, Louisiana , on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
