Vera Lucille Mccarroll Smith

Vera Lucille McCarroll Smith passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 82.  She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1938 in Albany, Louisiana to the late Marie Barker McCarroll and the late Elmore McCarroll.  She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Vera is survived by her siblings, Dorothy McCarroll Kinchen Craydon, Donlad Phillip McCarroll, Joan Louise McCarroll Perilloux (Bruce), and Samuel Adress McCarroll; daughter, Vicky Smith; grandchildren, Suzanne Coffey (Tommy), Lauren Ridgeway (Marty), Brantley Smith, Brennan Smith, and Joni Lené Smith (Ryan Milton); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Vera is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Smith; son, Greg Smith; and siblings, Bruce McCarroll, Elmore Jake McCarroll, Jr., and Wendell Roland McCarroll.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, August 21, 2021, beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, Louisiana.
