Vera Baham Morgan

Vera Baham Morgan  passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 69.  She was born on Friday, September 14, 1951 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Vernette Lewis and Lovell Baham.  She was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.

Vera is survived by her children, Regina Thompson (John) and Louis Pierre (Jessica); 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alvis Baham (Lulu), Roy Baham (Kim), Annalee Scallan, and Irma Jean (Jack); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vera is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Louis Pierre; second husband, Thomas Morgan; daughter, Geneva Warren, grandsons, Toi Warren and Ryan Lakely; and brother, Jimmy Baham and his wife Barbara.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, January 9, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.  

Interment will follow in St. Roch Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
