Velma Jones

Velma Jones passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 90.  She was born on Wednesday, December 26, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Joseph & Eva Jones.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula.

Velma is survived by her cousins, Julie Turpin and Frederick Turpin Sr. and their children, Brielle & Frederick Jr., grandchildren; Tyler, Spencer, Izabella & Macenzie, niece, Gaynelle Jones, grand niece, Tiffany Schaff, and nephew, Chris Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Eva Jones; and her cousin, Velma Mary Nutter; .
