Valenda Joanne Meyers Polion

Valenda Joanne Meyers Polion passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 56.  She was born on Tuesday, February 16, 1960, in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Joanne Dodd Meyers and John Arnold Meyers.  She was a resident of Albany, Louisiana.

Valenda is survived by her husband, Willie "Hammer" Polion; daughter, Katrina Joanne Serpas; two brothers & sisters-in-law, John Lynn & Debbie Meyers and John Michael & Kimberly Meyers; and sister & brother-in-law, Valissa Meyers LeBlanc & Earl LeBlanc, also survived by many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joanne and John Meyers; and her brother, John Edward Meyers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 41372 Thompson Dr., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 am.
