Una Mae Newman

Una Mae Newman, formerly of Ponchatoula, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at her home in Houston, Texas at the age of 94. She was born on August 3, 1925, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the daughter of the late John Albert Newman and the late Jessie Case Newman.

She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Marion Newman Sheridan, Lurline Newman Brecher, Troy Newman, and Charles Newman.

Graveside Services will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery, Sand Hill Cemetery Rd and Hwy 22 in Ponchatoula, on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11:00 am, with  interment to follow.
