Truman Holland Sr.

Truman Holland Sr. passed away Friday, November 8, 2019, at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 3, 1946, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, where he was a life long resident. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cova Roberts Holland; children, Kimberly Cockrell (Brandon), Truman Holland Jr, and Mandi Bernard (Brian); grandchildren, Matthew Claunch (Jamie), Santana Holland, Courtney Martinez, and Berklei and Gage Bernard; great grandchildren, Graycen, Hayden, Kaylin, Tristin, Gabriel, and Elijah Claunch; siblings, Allen Holland, Eldon Holland, Eva Younger, and Geneva Givens.

Preceded in death by his father, Edward Holland; mother, Tina Barnes Holland; sisters, Thelma Morse and Mildred Leblanc; brothers, Leon Holland, MacArthur Holland, and Michael Holland; son, Stephen Holland, and grandsons, Joshua and Adam Claunch.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
