Troy Larry Kennedy

Troy Larry Kennedy, 50 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at his home. He was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1965, in Marrero, Louisiana to Claude Larry Kennedy and Deanna Kerek Kennedy. Troy was a life long resident of Folsom before moving to Ponchatoula. Troy enjoyed life and loved to ride on his Harley, hunting, dirt track racing, jacked up trucks, rodeos, horseback riding, cooking, camping, but he especially loved spending time with his family. 

Troy is survived by his daughters, Breanna Jarrell and her husband Jordan, Logan  Kennedy and Makayla Kennedy, their mother, Shannon Welch Kennedy, his grandsons, Kaysen and Kashten Jarrell, his mother, Deanna Kerek Kennedy, his sister, Crystal McFadden and his brother, Scott Kennedy, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father Claude Larry Kennedy. 

A Visitation for Troy will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Memorial Service Celebrating Troy's Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. 

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all memorial contributions be made to a memorial fund set up for Troy's funeral expenses to 19506 Brennon Lane, Loranger, LA 70446 in his memory.
