Travis W. Baham, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the age of 81. He was born on October 19, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Edward Baham and the late Claressa Reid Baham. Travis was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a retired Tugboat Captain. His favorite hobby was four wheeling, and he loved spending time with his family.
Travis is survived by his wife, Helen Peyron Baham; sons, Henry Parker, Vincent Baham (Donna), John Baham (Donna), and Richard Baham (Angie); daughters, Roberta Cook, Charmane Adams (Keith), Christina Mansfield (Bobby), and Rhonda Godfrey (Larry); 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Floyd Baham, Kenneth Baham (Carolyn), and Dale Baham; sisters, Mavis Carrier, Carolyn Starkey (Wayne), Deborah Rick (Drew), and Donna Dufrene (Nolan).
In addition to his parents, Travis was preceded in death by his brothers, Cleo, Glen, and Wilson Baham.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, January 28, 2019, from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
