Tracey Denise Pinney St. John

Tracey Denise Pinney St. John was born August 25, 1966, in Houston, TX, and passed away February 2, 2024, at her residence in Robert, LA.  She was a graduate of LSU School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for over 25 years.  Tracey was instrumental in founding the former "Peter’s House" in Ponchatoula, LA, which was a home/shelter for women and their children.  Currently,  it is known as “Love Moved First Women’s Ministry” (a Christian non-profit home dedicated to helping women in crisis by extending Christ’s love.) 

Tracey is survived by her mother, Vonna Boyd Pinney of Loranger, LA; her three children, Christopher Robert Trombatore (Jamie Lynn Forsythe) of Covington, LA; Kristin Deanne Trombatore of Folsom, LA and Kyle Joseph Trombatore (Jessica Subic) of Mandeville, LA; two grandchildren, Robbie Nolan Trombatore and Ryleigh Deanne Trombatore; a brother, Michael Vernon Pinney (Edythe Pinney) of Tickfaw, LA; and two step-brothers, Wayne Keith Pinney (Teresa Pinney), of Guilford, IN, and William David Pinney (Jan Pinney) of Springfield, IL; along with numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.  Tracey is preceded in death by her husband Eugene St. John; and her step-father, Dr. Robert I. Pinney; grandparents, Vernon L. Boyd and Alma Ruth Boyd; and her step-brother, John Freeman Pinney.  

Final arrangements are as follows:  Saturday, February 10, 2024. Visitation at 10:00 A.M. and Service at 11:00 A.M. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family desires that donations be made in Tracey’s memory to the Celebrate Recovery group of your choosing.
