Tommy Wayne Richardson

Tommy Wayne Richardson, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on Thursday, March 11, 1943, in , Louisiana.

Tommy proudly served his community as a police officer with the Ponchatoula Police Department and retired after 30 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jackie Richardson; children, Wayne Richardson (Shannon), Crystal Jordan, and Artie Richardson; grandchildren, Amanda, Britney, Matthew, Candice, Josh, Madison, and Carson; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Tanner; brother-in-law, Ricky Harper(Kathy), sister-in-law, Melanie Harper Monistere(Warren); 5 great-grand dogs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Richardson Sr. and Lillian Robinson Richardson; brothers, Cecil Richardson Jr. and Glenn Richardson; loving brother-in-law, Ronnie Harper, and loving sister-in-law, Tammy Harper Cason.

A Graveside Service will be held at Carter Cemetery, 23478 Hutchinson Rd., Springfield, Louisiana 70462 on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
