Thomas Paul "Tommy" Motichek

Thomas “Tommy” Motichek was born January 5, 1938, in Ponchatoula, LA and passed away February 10, 2022, in Hammond, LA.  He was a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula.  Tommy worked as a pipefitter for many years before following his dad into the shoe repair business.  He is survived by his son, Michael John Motichek; daughter-in-law, Donna Motichek; sister, Mabel Ann Motichek; grandchildren, Nichole Thames Pardue and Jessie Thames; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Schildberg Motichek; sons, Thomas Chris Motichek, Kevin Paul Motichek, and Mark Anthony Motichek; brother, James David Motichek; sister, Mary Motichek Glass Haggard; and parents James Anthony Motichek and Mary Jane LeBlanc Motichek.  Visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
