Thomas Marion Wells Jr.

Thomas Marion Wells Jr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at the age of 82. He was born on Saturday, February 12, 1938, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Thomas, Sr. and Louise Mitchell Wells.

He was a retired educator, having taught math at Springfield Middle School and Springfield High School. Thomas' favorite pass time was to be outside cutting grass.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Margaret Husser Wells, sons & daughters-in-law, Jason and Sharee K. Wells and Jeffrey and Rachel T. McCarroll; grandchildren, Jeffrey McCarroll Jr., Julian McCarroll, Molly McCarroll, Julie Wells, Jase Wells, and Gweneth Wells; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth McCarroll, his brother, Kenneth Wells, and many other family members, great neighbors and friends.

A private graveside service will be held later.
