Thomas E. Higgins Sr.

Thomas E. Higgins Sr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on February 3, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Morgan Lee Higgins and Jimmie Monroe Higgins.

Thomas is survived by his sons, Thomas Higgins Jr. (fiancée Peggy Chatangier) and Brandon Ziebarth; daughter, Haley Perilloux (Charlie); grandchildren, Pierce Ziebarth, Jade Ziebarth, Laney Stine (Jacob), Noah Perilloux, Nash Perilloux, Morgan Higgins, Shelby Nickens (Laramie), and Alyssa Noble (Dylan); great grandchildren, Avery Nickens, Evan Nickens, Annie Kinchen, Shiloh Noble, Legend Gant, and Lilliana Gant; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Kathi Higgins, brother, Joe Higgins, and sister, Dean Warren.

Family and friends will be received at Driftwood Baptist Church, 27544 Driftwood Rd, Folsom, Louisiana 70437 on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Driftwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
