Thomas Deserie Hayden

Thomas Deserie Hayden was born August 19, 1942, in Ponchatoula, to the late Deserie and Margaret Effler Hayden. He passed away March 28, 2025, in Hammond. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula and a member of Millville Baptist Church. He is survived by his brother, William Placiede Hayden and wife, Deborah, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Willie Mae Kimbrel; and his brother, Joseph Dee Hayden. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, Friday, April 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Joshua Day. Interment will follow in Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Millville Baptist Church, 621 McClellan Street, Ponchatoula, 70454.
