Therisa Ann Harper was born in Amite on November 24, 1964, to the late Donald Keith Easley and Dorothy Bridges Easley. She passed away at her residence in Hammond on October 3, 2024. Therisa was a devout Christian, loyal Elvis fan, and worked for many years as a special education bus attendant for Tangipahoa Parish School Board. She is survived by her son, Clifton Dale “Cliff” Harper, Jr (Jordan); daughter, Dorothy Rayborn (Brian); numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Meme”, Mason Harper, Grace Rayborn, Harper Rayborn and Maxton Rayborn; special friend, Mr. Johnny, her pet, Dasher; and numerous other family members and friends. Therisa is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Dale “Cliff” Harper, Sr. and her father and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Joyce Harper. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, October 7, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Danny Carter and Rev. Gary Dennis. Therisa will be laid to rest next to her husband in Stevens Cemetery on Copperhead Road.
