Theda "Irene" Fletcher

Theda "Irene" Fletcher  passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 99.  She was born on Thursday, March 17, 1921 in West Virginia.  She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Irene is survived by her children, Carolyn Anti, Stanley Fletcher, Mary Ann Dudenhefer, and Russell Fletcher; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Williams and Betty Lou Lurkey; and brother, George Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Hamilton; her mother, Mariam Wespon; her husband, Stanley Fletcher; her children, Richard Fletcher, Ronnie and Donnie Fletcher, Jerry Wayne Fletcher, Emmit Fletcher, and 2 infant children; and her grandsons, Ronald Chaney and Jerry Fletcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, February 13, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 12:00 pm.  

Interment will follow in Serenity Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
