Terry Ann Hankel Mullan

Terry Hankel Mullan passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the age of 69. She was a native of Metairie and a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Terry retired from the U.S. Probation Office after 30 years of service. Terry always had a giving heart and would do anything to help someone. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Joseph Mullan, Jr., and brother, Glenn Hankel (Becky). She was the loving Godmother (Nanny) to Corey English (Allison); loving Aunt to Stacie Frey (Matt), Jill Villarrubia (Blake), Jenna Hankel, Dilan Hankel, and Brandon Hankel; doting Nanny/Great-Aunt to Cole English, Cade English, Palmer English, Grayson Hartzog, Porter Frey, Juliette Villarrubia, and Marshall Villarrubia. All of them meant the world to her, and she loved them dearly. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Julie Hankel and Karen Babin, and a large host of special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. Hankel, Sr., Letty McGrath Hankel; brother, Charles J. Hankel, Jr.; and sister, Sandra Hankel English.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Inhabit Hospice for the compassion and exceptional care they provided. A special thank you is extended to her dedicated caregivers, Stephanie, Heather, Aylah, Amanda, and Lorretta, for their kindness, support, and unwavering attention.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Terry’s memory.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana 70401, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:30 am. Burial will be private.
