Tammy Sheldon Oliphant passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 64. She was born on Thursday, June 29, 1961 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late Audrey Vallotton Sheldon and the late Albert Sheldon, Sr. She was a resident of Independence, Louisiana.
Tammy is survived by her son, Donnie Oliphant, Jr.; brother, Albert Sheldon, Jr.; sister, Carla Sharp; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Tammy was also preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Lee Oliphant, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Ford Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana.
