Tammie J. Landry Hale, 55, of West Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Tammie was born on January 9, 1963, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late O. T. and Ann Barber Landry. Tammie graduated from Hammond High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. A gifted musician, Tammie played the piano, sang, and taught lessons professionally. Before moving to Connecticut, Tammie worked as a paralegal. In Connecticut, Tammie was employed as Senior Contracts and Procurement Manager for Access Healthcare Connecticut. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.  

Tammie is survived by her loving wife, Denise Hale, her son, Michael Jacob Mannino, her grandson, Jacob Cade Mannino, her loyal companion, Sophie, her brothers Ronald “Pudgy” Landry and Stephen Rhodus, her sisters, Elizabeth “Sissy” Kyzar and Patricia “Pat” Johnson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Breland and her brother, Michael “Mike” Landry. She is mourned by a large, loving family and an abundance of friends in Louisiana and Connecticut.

Friends and relatives will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana, on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume and on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Howze Cemetery, in Holden, Louisiana with a reception to follow at the home of Joshua Huguet, 20542 Joiner Road, Hammond, Louisiana. Friends and family are invited to attend.
