Susan Marie Francois

Susan Marie Francois, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 65, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sunday, July 31, 1960, in Morgan City, Louisiana.

Susan is survived by her husband, Alan Francois; daughter, Kimberly Francois; daughter & son-in-law, Lisa and Rusty Duplechian; son & daughter-in-law, Shawn and Lesia Francois; grandchildren, Christopher Francois, Shawn Francois, Madalyn Francois, Zechariah Francois, Amie Francois, Josie Francois, Bella Francois, and Tristan Gore; and great-grandchild, Naomi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ray Barbier and Norma Hymel Barbier, sisters, Linda Barbier and Carol Ann Barbier, and brother, Jimmy Ray Barbier.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Blvd., in Hammond LA. on Saturday, February 21, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
