Stephen Anthony Morgan, Sr.

 It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Stephen Anthony Morgan of Ponchatoula, LA on July 3, 2024. 

Stephen was 49 years old, born to Jerry and Katy Morgan of Ponchatoula, LA on October 29, 1974.

Stephen was the youngest of seven children and lovingly referred to as “the baby” by all his siblings. He is remembered by many for his big smile, kind spirit and willingness to always help others. Stephen enjoyed fishing and football and was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers. When not working construction, Stephen could be found at his favorite place, The Hitch, shooting darts, sharing laughs and helping out. 

Stephen leaves behind his sons, Tristan Morgan, Logan Gervais, Stephen II, Maximus and Tobias Morgan; brothers, Jerry Morgan (Yovanny) and Landy Morgan; sisters, Phyllis Smith, Wanda Lennon (Michael) and Lori Morgan; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Katy Morgan; and a sister, Ruth Morgan. 

The family would like to mention special friends for their love, compassion and friendship, Caroline and Jayson Korndorffer, and John "Bean" Dillon.

A memorial service, to celebrate his life, is being held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at the Mules Hitch, 41118 S Range Rd, Ponchatoula at 3:00 p.m

 In lieu of flowers, contributions to “charity” in his name would be greatly appreciated.
