Stella Nicole Waguespack

Our precious little angel, Stella Nicole Waguespack, passed peacefully at 36 weeks on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:00 pm at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, Louisiana. Although Stella did not spend much time earth side, she forever changed the hearts of all those around her. Stella was a feisty and strong little girl who knew what she liked, including her love for spicy foods and strawberries. She was very active in moms’ belly and even from the womb Stella knew how to get her way. Stella was originally going to be named “Lydia”, but at 35 weeks mom and dad decided on change her name to Stella, a better fit for her  kind and strong personality. Stella had the most perfect little hands, a head full of dark hair, and her mom’s ”butt” chin. Little Stella was already so loved by her older brother, Paul, he was her protector on earth, and now Stella gets to protect him from heaven.

Stella leaves behind a loving family, including her parents, Kayla and Stephen Waguespack lll; big brother, Paul; paternal grandparents, Vera and Stephen Waguespack Jr.; aunts, Victoria and Taylar Andre, Kayla and Leah Waguespack; cousin, Theo Waguespack; great grandparents, Lori and Chester Price, Sidney Gray, Stephen and Debbie Waguespack, and Mary kay “Nana” Bourgeois.

She was welcomed into heaven by her maternal grandmother, Nikki Bourgeois; great grandmother, Linda Gray; and great grandfather William Bourgeois.

The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
