Stanley Lloyd, Sr. And Alma "Jean" Martin

Alma "Jean" Martin passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 91.  She was born on Saturday, June 21, 1930 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Myrtle Ballard Howie and the late Charles Howie.  She was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana.

Stanley Lloyd Martin, Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 23, 1993, at the age of 66. He was born on Thursday, July 28, 1927 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Lula Martin and the late Floyd Martin. He was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana.

Jean and Stanley are survived by their daughter, Melinda Desselle (Kevin); their grandchildren and the children of Stanley Lloyd Martin, Jr., Stanley Lloyd Martin McClung III (Tazi) and David Martin McClung (Anna); grandchildren, Sean Scudari (Lauren), Jeremy "J.T." Scudari (Sarah),  and Daniel Desselle (Hailey); great-grandchildren, Hannah McClung, Athena McClung, Luca Scudari, and Daniel Desselle, Jr.; Jean's sister, Nancy Macintyre; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean and Stanley are preceded in death by Stanley's parents, Floyd and Lula Martin; Jean's parents, Charles and Myrtle Howie; their son, Stanley Lloyd Martin, Jr.; Stanley's sisters, Linda Guy and Rosemary Martin; and Jean's brother, Charles Howie, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, beginning at 8:00 AM until the memorial service begins at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, Louisiana 70460.

Due to family allergies, we ask that no one who attends the visitation or funeral wear perfume or cologne, as it would cause members of the family extreme discomfort. We thank you very much for your cooperation.
