Stanley Wayne Laird

Stanley Wayne Laird, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born on September 7, 1947, in Anna, Illinois, the son of the late Charles Laird and Wanda Richardson Laird. Stanley served in the United States Navy and retired from the United States Postal Service.

Stanley is survived by his sons, Michael Laird and Allen Laird and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Jake Laird, Jeb Laird, Niki Reando, Rebecca Laird, Jada Laird, and Carson Briggs-Laird; and great grandchildren, Rhianna Alexander and Zayden Laird.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Cook Laird; daughters, Leslie Beister and Jennifer Laird; and granddaughter, Amanda Beister.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, with Bro. Randy Ray officiating.

Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
