Spencer Stevens Hano

Spencer Stevens Hano, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born on Wednesday, September 8, 1943, in Holden, Louisiana.

Spencer is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois Bankston Hano; daughter, Marlene Coats and her husband Hank; son, Spencer Hano Jr. and his wife Dollie; grandchildren, Shylah Hano, Clint Coats, Max Coats and Bobby Null; great-grandchildren, Carson Coats, Cohen Coats, Robbie Null; and brother, Clifford Hano and his wife Yvonne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Bertie Hano; and sisters, Sally Murphy and Thelma Green.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, La. 70401.

Interment will follow at James Chapel Cemetery in Holden, Louisiana.
