Sofia Ovante

Sofia  Ovante , of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the age of 91. She was born on Tuesday, September 18, 1928, in Sinola.

Sofia is survived by her children, Sofia R. Ovante, Maria O. Freeman, Alicia Ovante, Margarita Ovante, Eduardo Ovante, Carlos Ovante, Alberto  Ovante, and Agustin Ovante, grandchildren, Linda, Jose, Nayeli, Martha, Daniel, Guadalupe, Micaela, Gloria, Vannesa, Valerie, Agustin, Alicia, Julian, Fernando, Esmeralda, Jaqueline, Teresa, Eduardo, Veronica, Samantha, Bebecca, Alexis, Jasmin, Alberto, Rosalia, Micheal, Alfred, Thomas, Frankie, Gabriel, Daniela, Armond, Romano, Anthony, Jadon, Claudia, Jose, Jesus, and Jose.

There will be a visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Saturday July18, from 6:00 pm. until 9:00 pm. and a religious service at 7:00 pm.
