Shonda Kaye Freeman

Shonda Kaye Freeman passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Kiln, Mississippi, at the age of 61. She was born on Tuesday, January 21, 1964 in Longview, Texas to the late Dale Baker Freeman and the late Russell Freeman. She was a resident of Kiln, Mississippi.

Shonda is survived by her children, Ricky Arnaud, Jr.(Gina), Daphne Arnaud(Bryan Geiling, Jr.), Brandi Arnaud(Debbie), and Joseph Freeman(Carrie); grandchildren, Cade Arnaud, Jude Hartfield, Jordin Arnaud, Ricky Arnaud III, Cheyenne Geiling, Haley Geiling, Tallia Geiling, Bryan Geiling III, Landen Arnaud, Kylakaye Arnaud, Julian Duvall, Jessica Duvall, Madison Freeman, and Emily Freeman; 4 great-grandchildren, siblings, Pam Burks(David), Allen Freeman(A.J.), Alton Freeman(Maria), and Michelle Melerine(Joseph).

In addition to her parents, Shonda was also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ray Patrick; and her brother, Anthony Freeman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Gatlin Cemetery, Gatlin Cemetery Road, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
