Shellie Kay Givens

Shellie Kay Givens passed away peacefully at her home in Independence, LA on the morning of February 20th, 2022. Shellie was a homemaker, lover of all plants and flowers, art, but mostly her grandchildren. Shellie is survived by her husband Ronald Givens; children, Sage Marino and Justin and Chyna Richardson;  grandchildren, Mason Marino, Dalton Davis, Myles Richardson and Jessy Richardson; brother, Glen Guyn and his daughters Rachel and Camryn Guyn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as all "adopted" children she had as well.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" and Diana "Dee" Guyn; her oldest brother, Sam Guyn;  nephew, Dalton Guyn, and "adopted" mother Rose Ellis.  A memorial service will be held courtesy of Immanuel Baptist Church in Hammond, LA on March 7th, 2022, from 1pm-3pm.  Shellie loved flowers.  Flowers may be sent to Immanuel Baptist Church in Hammond.
