Shelby Aubrey Forrester

Shelby Aubrey Forrester  passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83.  He was born on Tuesday, July 23, 1935 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Mayble Forrester and the late Alvero Forester. Shelby was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1953 to 1961 in Abilene, Texas.

Shelby married Karen Hudson Forrester, and they had four children, Douglas and Kimberly Aleman, and Deborah and Allen Forrester. Shelby also has seven grandchildren, Amanda Aleman, David and Craig Reidy, Heather Jones, and Jason, Allen, and Brian Forrester. He is also survived by his bother Raymond.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Shelby on Friday, September 28, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the Good News Fellowship Church, 13101 LA-442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466.
